By purchasing my art and/or design services, you automatically agree to the following terms and conditions.
Please read this in its entirety before ordering or purchasing my art.
The terms and conditions herein are subject to change at any time without any notice and be effective immediately.
The parties henceforth shall be referred to as You (The Client) and Jade Owen Stardust (The Artist).
When The Client contacts The Artist for work, they agree that The Artist’s TOS supersedes any TOS The Client might have.

Not all Additional Fees are listed below. If The Client is unsure of any possible Additional Fees that may be charged, they may inquire with The Artist before completing the order of their commission and discuss any payment plans as needed.
CHANGES TO COMMISSION
+This fee may apply when The Client has requested major changes to the commission After completion.
EXCESSIVE REVISIONS
+This fee may apply should The Artist feel that The Client has requested more than three revisions (which could impede on progress of the commission being made) and/or if The Artist feels their creative freedoms are being limited in order to please The Client.
COMPLEX FORM
+This fee may apply when a character has (but is not limited to) the following:
DESIGN FROM DESCRIPTION
+This fee may apply when The Client has The Artist work from a description rather than a visual reference. (An additional design fee is also added if this is the first time the character is being created/drawn.)
ALTERNATE DESIGN AND MORE
+This fee may apply when The Client has The Artist create an alternate form for an already existing character.

When The Client contacts The Artist for work, they agree that The Artist’s TOS supersedes any TOS The Client might have.
Jade Owen Stardust will agree to drawing the following…
- animal (feral) characters
- anthro characters
- human characters
- mythical creatures
- original species characters
- fantasy
- fanbased ocs (original characters created from a fanbase from a movie, tv show, video game, etc.)
- fanart (i.e. characters from tv shows, video games, movies, etc.)
- AU spinoffs (AU = Alternate Universe)
- You, pets or someone you know in a cartoon/animated character interpretation
- Some Nudity (such as for character sheets)
Jade Owen Stardust will not agree to drawing the following…
- anything NSFW (Not Suited For the Work place)
- sexual/fetish content
- robots or anything pertaining to sci-fi
- anything that could be discriminatory or offensive to any other viewer
- realistic portraits (i.e. you, someone you know, or your pets)
GENERAL
- The Artist reserves the right to decline a commission for any reason and does not have to give reason to The Client, even when asked.
- Full payment is required before The Artist begins work on commissions. Payment must also be received in full in order for The Client to obtain the full resolution image.
- If The Client wishes to know what The Artist is willing, or unwilling, to work on, it is the responsibility of The Client to inquire with The Artist..
- Commissions are all done digitally, unless stated otherwise.
- The Artist may charge extra for certain requests (not limited to)…
- tattoos
- intricate or detailed markings
- complex or unusual anatomy
- many accessories
- non-organic backgrounds (i.e. cities, roadways, etc.)
- additional characters or poses
- creating a new character design (or making any kind of new design of an existing character)
- The Artist's (“Jade Stardust”) signature is to remain seen and clear on the art at all times. Do NOT alter the artists work to remove this mark.
- (This is to be said as well for any of The Artists watermarks, such as, but not limited to “Jade Stardust”, as well as older watermarks/signatures such as "Jade Katt Art".)
- The artist may also sign their work under the names of “Owen Stardust”, “Jade Owen Stardust”, or Gaby Ospina. (These are names under the extension of Jade Owen Stardust)
- If you are asking The Artist to design a character (meaning that The Client has no visual references to provide The Artist with) The Client will be subject to Additional Fees.
PAYMENT
- All payments are made via PayPal (USD) Invoice.
- Payment is due IN FULL.
- Payment Plans are available, if discussed beforehand with The Artist. (Plans are only available for payments of $70+)
- Invoices are sent prior to starting the commission. (With the exception of the initial rough sketch which The Artist provides The Client to give a visual idea of what the commission may look like.)
- Commission work will not be started or completed until full payment is received.
- The Client is NOT to send payment to The Artist without having been invoiced. The invoice is for both The Client and The Artist to keep record of the order.
- Please keep in mind as The Client, you are buying digital goods that do not need to be shipped.
- If charge backs are made,The Client will be black listed, banning them from future commissions.
- *Note: Some commissions can be purchased via Ko-Fi Supporter Page.
REFUNDS
- Full refunds are not available.
- Small amounts or half refunds are available, only if The Artist has begun progress on The Client’s commission.
AVAILABILITY
- The Artist's availability to work on commissions varies.
- The Client may contact The Artist to inquire about ordering commission work, even when The Artist has not advertised commissions. (Please note that The Artist does not need to give an immediate response.)
- Should The Artist choose to take on commissions, they will advertise as such on their social media.
PROGRESS & REVISIONS
- Progress is shown upon request only.
- Progress may be shown to The Client as proof of progress of work if The Artist chooses.
- First time revision (if minor and before completion of commission) is granted upon request.
- First-time Minor revisions are acceptable after completion of the commission without any Additional Fees.
- Major revisions after the completion of the commission, will not be accepted without payment for Additional Fees.
- When presenting progress to The Client, they may request some revisions during the process, however exceeding a certain amount may result in Additional Fees. (See Additional Fees—Excessive Revisions.)
THE ARTIST
- May use it as portfolio work.
- By commissioning The Artist, you are purchasing their artistic labor only. They retain all viable copyrights over their work, which include but are not limited to the right to distribute, reproduce, or use the work for samples/self-promotion unless discussed beforehand.
- Will respect The Client’s wishes to not publicly post their commission only upon request.
- Is responsible for fulfilling the requests of The Client’s Order.
- Is responsible for updating The Client, either upon request of The Client or by the intentions of The Artist to keep The Client informed.
- Is NOT responsible for reaching out to The Client’s for the order. (Meaning that if The Artist is waiting on a full and complete order before sending out an invoice, it is not the duty of The Artist to contact The Client and ask for their complete order.)
- Is NOT responsible for delivering the final product of the commission if The Client has not paid in Full.
THE CLIENT
- May re-upload the art to their gallery, sta.sh, or personal website as long as proper credit is given and linked back to the artist.
- Provide proper links found here, where you might locate the artist on other media websites: The Artist.
- May use the commissioned work for personal use only! This includes but is not limited to icons, signatures, layouts, and personal website display.
- May not claim the work as their own, redistribute/re-sell the commissioned piece
- May not be commercially used.
- May use the cost of the purchased and completed commission to add on as an additional price only when reselling a character design.
- May ask The Artist to draw something from what may or may not be listed on what they agree or may not agree to draw, however, should The Artist agree to do something that is not what they agree to draw there will be Additional Fees.
- Is responsible for informing The Artist of any changes in the commission order, or character design, ahead of time. If the commission is completed without notification of changes there will be an Additional Fee.
- Is responsible for providing The Artist with a complete order. (Meaning that The Client is to inform The Artist of what artwork they would like done, provide references, and any other information needed in order to complete the commission.)
- Is responsible for full payment of the order.
COMMUNICATION & TIME
- The Artist does all they can to keep in contact with The Client. If The Artist contacts The Client with questions or progress images for approval they will wait for a reply before continuing to work on The Client’s commission.
- If The Artist fails to receive a reply from The Client within 48 hours, they will continue working as intended.
- Do NOT contact The Artist excessively (e.g. several times in a single day, or every other day).
- Progress on commissions can vary from either one(1) to two(2) weeks, two(2) to four(4) months, or more depending on circumstances.
- If The Client would like their order done by a certain deadline The Artist may charge an Additional Fee, or even decline the order if the deadline is too tight. It is the responsibility of The Client to inform The Artist immediately if they would like a certain deadline to be met!
- The Artist does all they can to keep The Client informed and updated as best they can.
ADDITIONAL FEES
Not all Additional Fees are listed below. If The Client is unsure of any possible Additional Fees that may be charged, they may inquire with The Artist before completing the order of their commission and discuss any payment plans as needed.

- Taur (human/humanoid torso + animal/creature hindquarters) (Or vice-versa)
- Unusual anatomy
- Extensive tattoos
DESIGN FROM DESCRIPTION
+This fee may apply when The Client has The Artist work from a description rather than a visual reference. (An additional design fee is also added if this is the first time the character is being created/drawn.)
ALTERNATE DESIGN AND MORE
+This fee may apply when The Client has The Artist create an alternate form for an already existing character.
- This includes, but is not limited to: making an anthro form for a feral character, designing outfits, designing a character with different colors or marking patterns, creating a human form for an anthro/feral/other character, etc.
